Message from the CEO

Although we have a strong pipeline of work from current and new clients, the pandemic has impacted the timing of the work. This could cause unexpected peaks of work, but I’m confident we have some of the best people in the industry around us to deliver this and our exceptionally strong community will pull us through.

The BiD Masters Team

As you will be aware, we have been working hard over the last 18 months to restructure BiD Masters to promote growth and provide benefit for all of us. We decided to offer the opportunity for others to be instrumental in this growth and reap the benefits, rather than doing this organically. Following inputs from associates and those interested in taking up the opportunity, we have established a 4-tier organisation:

  • The Network Support Hub is the core team, whose roles are designed to maintain standards of delivery, recruit and train Network Partners, approve Authorised Contractors and promote the brand and the services it provides. It will continue to win work itself or by passing leads on to the appropriate Network Partners.
  • Network Partners – Franchise. Operate fully under the BiD Masters brand, winning and delivering work through their own resources or subcontracting work to other Network Partners.
  • Network Partners – Licence. Continue to operate under their own company, but are licenced to win and deliver work under the BiD Masters brand, subcontracting to other Network Partners as necessary.
  • Approved Contractors. Proven contractors who the Network may subcontract when a suitable Network Partner is not available.

LinkedIn

BiD Masters is gaining traction on LinkedIn with a rapid increase in followers, which will help us win more business. Have you connected with us on LinkedIn?

Spotlight: Thales

Our relationship with Thales started at the turn of the century, when Peter was employed by Babcock and was working on a joint venture bid with Thales for the Armed Vehicle Training Service. Over the last twenty years we have worked in various ways to support Thales, including training them in the use of the Award® software. Almost ten years ago we were appointed to a 4-year framework contract to deliver proposal support. We have worked for many of their market areas, including defence, training, security, digital identity communications, transport and nuclear power. We are pleased to say that we have a strong reputation throughout the company and have a good pipeline of work with them.
